Chris is a Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor and Licensed Mental Health practitioner, and has been with Family Resources since 2003. Her specialty areas include addictions/co-dependency and recovery, stress reduction, anxiety, depression, conflict and anger management. She enjoys working primarily with adults. She also finds it challenging to identify and facilitate change in work place “systems” to provide healthier work environments. 

Chris is also trained in Emotional Intelligence (EQ-I) and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD). She has created and provided many presentations through the Employee Assistance Program through her years of employment at Family Resources.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Community Counseling program. She has been married for over 40 years and has three adult daughters, three wonderful son-in-laws and three adorable grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, traveling, camping and jet skiing with family and friends. Chris is a self-proclaimed student of life and challenges herself to continue to learn about the external world and the world within.
